Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) is a professional undergraduate programme designed to prepare students for rewarding careers in nursing and healthcare. The programme combines theoretical knowledge, practical training, clinical experience, and professional development to equip students with the skills required to provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care.The programme places strong emphasis on practical learning. Students gain clinical exposure and develop skills in patient assessment, nursing procedures, medication administration, emergency care, health education, infection prevention, and patient management under appropriate supervision.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or an equivalent examination approved by the Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur.
Candidates must have separate minimum pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together.
About B.Sc. Nursing
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) is a 4-year undergraduate medical programme. Nursing education is monitored by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The programme focuses on developing critical care, advanced thinking skills, proficiency, and values necessary for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery.
The programme prepares students to become responsible citizens by following a code of moral values and conduct at all times while fulfilling personal, social, and professional responsibilities.
The B.Sc. Nursing programme involves classroom study, projects, and assignments that enable students to gain practical knowledge and develop a deeper understanding of their learning.
